Welcome to Mountain View Custom Log Cabins, where we manufacture and sell small living spaces known as Park Model Homes. We’re a company dedicated to folks who believe in the upside of downsizing. We’ve built our success on the quality of our work and the satisfaction of our customers. And, because we know there’s more to having less, we take great pride in perfecting every single inch of our 400-square foot custom cabins.

A Beginning Born of a Dream and a Drink

Story has it, in 1989, two old friends were sipping on a glass of Scotch while pouring over their worries about the impending recession. Despite their success in the modular home business, they could see the industry waning and wondered aloud, if it was time to try something new.

Fueled by a leap of faith and, perhaps, some liquid courage, the two soon developed the “log cabin park model” – blending the most popular features of a modular home, a tiny home and a traditional log cabin.

Today, Mountain View Custom Log Cabins is the beneficiary of that spirited brainstorming session and a proud manufacturer of the park model custom log cabin.
