This unique tiny home was built in 2015 on a custom dual 6000 lb axel tiny home trailer. The exterior footprint is 8’x20’ and about 13’4” at the tallest point. The home features wane edge pine siding which gives it the look of a rustic mountain cabin.
The interior features:
* Cali bamboo vinyl flooring (best in the industry with a 50 year warranty)
* Propane on demand water heater
* Bosch 7 gallon electric water heater
* LED track lighting
* Walls are tongue and groove pine
* Window and door trim is locally grown and harvested cherry
* 3 burner propane cook top
* Farmhouse sink -4.5 cu. Ft Magic Chef mini fridge (less than 2 years old)
* Envi wall mounted electric heater (3 years old)
* LG window AC unit (3 years old)
The kitchen cabinets were built from high end plywood that is made with soy glue and from woods sustainably harvested. This provides plenty of storage space, more than I ever used. Opposite the cabinets is a built in shelving system to fit plenty of canned goods, spices and small food items. A sliding barn door separates the bathroom from the kitchen. The bathroom has a 32” shower (bigger than some in houses in West Asheville!), composting toilet, and is trimmed in cedar and features recessed lighting on a dimmer.
Above the front door is a storage loft that offers a good bit of storage space. The sleeping loft is spacious enough to fit a king sized mattress with room to spare! The home has 11 insulated, double paned windows that bring in a ton of natural light and make the space feel very open. The home is well insulated and easily heated with a space heater. I often got too warm with just the wall mounted heater in the winter. This home is amazing and I truly love it! It is cozy and easily feels like home.
This house can be sold fully furnished (with a couple exceptions). I built a custom sofa with storage underneath, a custom shoe shelf, a table that folds down when not in use, and configured custom shelving from cinder blocks and wood. All can be included if desired. Asking $45,600, but very open to reasonable offers! Please reach out with any questions. I’m happy to set up virtual or in-person viewings.
It is currently parked about 30 min NW of Asheville on a beautiful 22 acre farm, and there is a possibility that it can stay on this property.
