Lemon Cove Village is nestled in the foothills of the beautiful western Sierra Nevada mountain range, providing a gorgeous setting with stunning scenery. The small town of Lemon Cove, with a population of 350, offers a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by mountains, rocks, oak trees, and fresh, clean air. It’s only 19 miles east of Visalia, adding to its accessibility.

You’ll love the options near Lemon Cove Village if you enjoy outdoor activities. With Kaweah Lake and the Kaweah River just 4 miles away, there are opportunities for fishing, boating, and even white water rafting. The town of Three Rivers is also nearby, located just 16 miles to the north, providing additional exploration possibilities.

Tiny Home Village – Bernalillo County, New Mexico

The Tiny Home Village is a transitional housing program that aims to support individuals in their journey toward stable and sustainable living situations. The program assists clients in achieving success and satisfaction with community living while promoting independence, dignity, personal choice, and privacy. With a team-based and evidence-informed approach, the Tiny Home Village strives to reduce risk factors, enhance resilience, and foster individual and comprehensive community wellness.

As an 18-24 month program, the Tiny Home Village creates a community-oriented living space where residents can work towards their goals of securing more permanent housing. The Village comprises 30 cozy tiny homes, each with essential amenities and comfortable living arrangements. Shared facilities such as single-stall bathrooms, a communal kitchen, and indoor/outdoor living areas encourage a sense of togetherness among residents. Additionally, the Village provides community amenities like a garden, BBQ grill, and dog park for everyone’s enjoyment.

Residents of the Tiny Home Village are expected to actively engage in community life, participating in organized group activities and collaborating with the Village’s case management team to establish and accomplish personal goals. The program is designed for individuals aged 18 and above experiencing homelessness or precariously housed and can live independently and contribute positively to the community. Pets, specifically dogs, are allowed in the Village with specific guidelines in place.

Applications for the Tiny Home Village are accepted during specific open application periods, and interested individuals can submit their completed applications via email or in person at the Village’s location.

Whispering Aspen Village – Fairplay, CO

This charming village is located within the scenic Mosquito Mountain Range, just 30 minutes away from the renowned ski destination of Breckenridge. Whispering Aspen Village provides a wealth of outdoor activities year-round, including climbing, hiking, guided horseback riding, ATV off-roading, and some of the best fly fishing in the state.

The village boasts a variety of accommodation options, including over 20 cabins, several RVs, and tiny houses on wheels. Residents and visitors alike have access to a fully equipped clubhouse, community recreation areas, and amenities such as a coin-operated laundry facility, a clubhouse with Wi-Fi and a fully equipped kitchen, a game room with a pool table and foosball, a tennis court, and hot tubs (available during the summer months).

For those interested in renting or buying property within the village, individual property owners handle rentals and sales directly. Platforms like Airbnb and realtor.com can provide more information and listings. It’s important to note that there is no on-site management, and the Facebook page is not involved in rental or sales processes nor represents the villagers or the homeowners association (HOA).

Whispering Aspen Village fosters a strong sense of community, where neighbors know each other and care about their surroundings. The village continually grows as more homeowners and lot owners join the community. It encompasses an eclectic mix of full-time residents, second-home owners, and renters, providing a diverse and welcoming environment.

Canoe Bay Escape Village – Canoe Bay, Wisconsin

Canoe Bay ESCAPE Village, located in northwest Wisconsin, is the Midwest’s first vacation tiny home village. Situated on over 100 acres of forested land with private lakes and wetlands, the village offers a picturesque setting for tiny house enthusiasts. The village provides strategically placed sites with stunning views, some of which already have ESCAPE small homes. Other open spots are available for individuals interested in purchasing their ESCAPE tiny house or park model.

Residents can enjoy lakeside or forested sites within the village for a monthly fee. The tiny homes at Canoe Bay ESCAPE Village start at approximately $90,000, with monthly lot rates ranging from $450 to $600. While this might seem costly for some, the village encourages homeowners to rent out their homes when they’re away, with estimated annual rental revenue ranging from $13,000 to $20,000. Homeowners also have the option to move their ESCAPE tiny homes to different sites within the village after a year of rental or even move them out of the village entirely.

Orlando Lakefront Tiny Home Community

Orlando Lakefront Tiny Home community is an ideal haven for individuals seeking the tiny living experience. It offers 15 unique vacation rentals and 40 available lots for personal tiny homes, providing the opportunity to embrace lakeside living in the heart of Orlando.

Formerly an RV park from the 1950s, Orlando Lakefront at College Park has transformed into a thriving tiny house community. The community ensures legal parking solutions for tiny house owners, enabling them to enjoy the benefits of tiny living fully. With full hook-ups to park utilities, residents can comfortably park their tiny homes on wheels alongside fellow tiny house enthusiasts.

Reflecting the ethos of the tiny house movement, Orlando Lakefront represents a grassroots effort to cultivate an authentic and close-knit tiny house community. Currently, the community consists of 42 tiny houses, including 40 THOWs (Tiny Houses On Wheels) and 2 tiny houses on foundations. New members are warmly welcomed to join and contribute to the growth of this supportive network while embracing the tiny lifestyle.

Adam, the former RV park owner, shares the vision of fostering a thriving tiny house community without displacing existing RV neighbors. The community’s growth follows a sustainable and ethical approach. As RVs depart, available lots are offered to individuals seeking legal parking spaces. This allows residents to enjoy lakeside living.

Orlando Lakefront at College Park offers 50 lease spaces, providing options ranging from shaded areas to sunny spots, with some located right by the lakeshore. Residents can relish the opportunity to bring their boats, paddleboards, and kayaks to enjoy the nearby Lake Fairview. The park’s convenient location places it just seven minutes away from downtown Orlando and a short 20-minute drive from renowned attractions and theme parks. Additionally, the vibrant neighborhood of College Park offers many dining, shopping, and entertainment options.

The community boasts various amenities, including a boat dock, fishing docks, a laundromat, a community garden, and a green park situated along the lakefront, providing a delightful space for pets. Lot leases are competitively priced, ranging from $565 to $765 per month, depending on the specific location within the park.
